Mr. Miller, Principal
Hello and welcome to TMS! I am incredibly excited to begin my third year as principal at Trimpe Middle School.
Prior to coming to TMS, I served as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Civic Memorial High School from 2016-2018. Before that, I was the Dean of Students and Athletic Director at East Alton-Wood River High School for seven years. I began my career as a social studies teacher at Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville, IL, for two years and then took a social studies teaching position at East Alton-Wood River for four years prior to entering administration. During my time at East Alton-Wood River, I served as the head boys basketball coach for six seasons where we won the first outright boys basketball conference championship in over twenty years at EAWR.
I have lived in the Riverbend area my entire life and am a proud resident of Madison County. I graduated from Roxana High School and earned my bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville before returning to SIUE to earn a master’s degree in Educational Administration. I have been married to my wonderful and supportive wife, Kristen, for over a decade and we have two amazing, energetic, and fun boys who keep us busy and on our toes.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, studying current events, attending high school sports and cheering on my favorite sports teams including the St. Louis Cardinals, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and, of course, the Trimpe and Civic Memorial Eagles!
